A parental control add-on knows what sites are adult (ProCon Latte)
and a privacy mode add-on does not save browsing data (Stealther). You
can manually not save adult site browsing data, but if you forget it
once, you will have to erase all history. I deleted a folder that was
going to show me my most visited sites, I can't use an add-on that

Right-clicking to get the "note this" option to store information in
your notebook works when I highlight text but not urls in the address
bar. Maybe this should be implemented so that urls can be added to the

Hi all I use firefox

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/

recently (I am not sure when) my online google bookmarks stopped
working. When I click the bookmarks tab it asks me to sign in - which
I do but nothing happens - just keeps asking me to log in. Any ideas?

I held out with 2.0.0.20 Foxfire so I could have my favorite add-ons.
Jan. 1, however, I had to face up to it. I installed Firefox 3 and set
my Foxmarks to also sync password. So far it has worked OK. I also
recommend MozBackup, it has helped fix things, set up Firefox on a new
computer with same extensions, etc. It does passwords, too.

I'm with Flynn on this one. Now that Google Browser Sync is driving
home the point on each launch that it will not work after this month,
I'm eager to find something that will do session restoring/sharing
(which, of course, implies bookmark syncing, cookie syncing, password
syncing, and so on).

I use Yellow Dog Linux 6.0 which has Firefox 2.0.0.14 installed as
default browser. I have Google Browser Sync installed and Updater
Notifier installed. Tonight Update Notifier alerted me that there was
a new version of Google Browser Sync available, 1.4.20081223.0. Did
everyone else using Firefox 2.x get this update too?

For several months now I have been without Google Sync and without the
booksmarks that I had accumulated there.

Now I use FireFox 3 on a different / newer computer but don't have
access to all my bookmarks. I would really like to get my bookmarks

Nice extension, however, when you right click to open in a new tab, it
only works the first time after you open your browser. Can't figure it
out, would like to use it but guess will wait till all the bugs are
worked out.

Google Toolbar disappeared

Not sure what gives. Google toolbar was fine yesterday, but today
there's nothing here. It doesn't even show up under the view--
toolbars. Tried uninstall and reinstall, but still nothing. Any ideas?

The extension Google NoteBook for firefox don't use secure connection
HTTPS.
I suggest to add a parameter to enable secure connection.

Hello,

There are many difficulties in using Internet Explorer.But we were now
very ok using Mozilla Firefox.I think finding weak point to currently
browsers is more reasonable for us instead of developing new
browser.And later this step we should try to approach creating a new
browser.
