Subject: How do I get a PIN?
Ok maybe I am a total idiot. I installed Google browser Sync and it is
asking me for my PIN? What PIN?  How do I get one or create one? I have
never had one, so I do not know what to enter for this, so I can not
install the product.  Thanks!

Thanks maybe I am missing it but all they tell you there I how to
change my pin. When I go to the my account page, browser sync is not
even listed there as an option.  Did you just download the product and
it provided you with a PIN? Where does the PIN come from?

1. Create a Google Account
2. Download Google Browser Sync, close Firefox
3. Open Firefox. Go through  Sing in wizard, where YOU enter YOUR PIN
and confirm it (choose whatever you want: '1234', or 'crashle').

Good Luck!

Directly from: http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/browsersync/faq.htm

"Can I change my PIN?

Currently, it's not possible to change your PIN. If your PIN is
compromised, the best thing to do is to remove the Browser Sync service
from your Google account at http://www.google.com/accounts and start
fresh. Since Browser Sync imports your current browser settings, you
shouldn't lose anything.?
