Subject: Re: Outlook 2007 FIle Not closed
I am running Vista with Outlook 2007. I have had this same problem
since March. The newest version you identify in your posting does not fix the problem. My .pst files are very large with thousands of emails & attachments. My .pst files originally came from earlier versions of Outlook (2000 & 2003) that were transitioned from laptop to laptop as I upgraded multiple times. Emails do show up in Google Desktop search results from Outlook, so it is able to read the .pst files. The issue may be associated with the size of the .pst files or the sheer number of items, but I suspect that issue is not that the files are not closed by Google Desktop. Instead it may be associated with Google Desktop having the files open when Outlook is started. If Google Desktop is opening the files with write access for whatever reason, then Outlook thinks that the file might be corrupted. Just one person's thoughts...
