Subject: Reget Pro causes a Google Desktop memory leak?
I've noticed Google Desktop sometimes goes nuts on my system and takes
400 megs of RAM. I've narrowed it down that when I'm downloading Zip
files via Reget Pro it causes GD to consume a lot of memory and when I
get Reget Pro it doesn't. I'm guessing GD is freaking out on the
partial zip file that's being written to disk.

Any ideas? I've read the thread about corrupted zip files causing
problems. FWIW my issue isn't CPU usage, but memory.

Thanks for the report Nelson. We'll investigate and let you know if we
come up with anything.

One update; if I have Reget Pro download the zip file with only one
HTTP connection, the memory leak doesn't seem to happen. In that
scenario Reget is getting the zip file from the beginning, so maybe it
doesn't trigger a corrupt zip file problem
