Whatever phrase I search for Desktop claims only one e-mail and one
file has been foundand shows one page of results when in reality there
ought to be many pages of results. I've tried uninstalling and
reinstalling software but with the same outcome.Any ideas to help me
overcome this problem will be gratefully received

Hello,
What OS are you using? Have you enabled indexing in Google Desktop
preferences? (To access it, type "Google Desktop Options" into your
Quick Search Box).

I have the same problem. My operating system is Vista. Indexing is
enabled. Whenever I search for something it finds man results, but I
can only see the first page. I'll see 30 some results on the first
page, but at the top it says there are only one e-mail and one file
found. If I click on the files, it does seem to filter on only the
files, but I still only see the first page and it doesn't give me the
option to go to other pages of results, even though I know there are
many more then the one page. At the top it still says only one file
found, even though it is showing 30 (or whatever fits on one page).
