I apologize for the late reply. I have to filter a lot of spam
messages in this group, so I initially missed your post.

Anyway, I have to admit that I've put some other projects ahead of
Google Desktop for the moment. I've also been meaning to still update
this Strategy Chess game before making new Google Desktop gadgets.

Hey everyone!
Sorry for taking so long to get any updates out. I finally started
working on something new - a "Universal Gadgets" for Strategy Chess.
This version can play on iGoogle, GD, and be embedded on other
websites.
I would really appreciate if anyone is willing to try this out before
it is submitted to Google. You can add this gadget to your iGoogle

this game. I wish I new something about programming or I'd give you a hand.

Hey,
Thanks for the post. The sizing issue has been my top priority for a
while for this gadget. Unfortunately it'll take a bit more work than
other updates.
I've been really busy lately, but I haven't forgotten about this
gadget. Hopefully you'll be able to see this update around summer
time.

Dude this has been a favorite game of mine for years. Great job. I
love it and can't get enough of it. Is there any way you can make the
board a little bigger when you move it out on the the desktop? I'm
half blind as it is.

Hmmmmm.
I'd say it's a good idea to do offer that to users. When I originally
played a similar game to this, I played with the rule that the spy
always wins. However, the rules generally are that the spy only wins
if he is attacking, and I would like to keep it like that, at least as
a default setting.

I think that any colnflict between the 1 and the S should kill the 1
the 1 is too overpowered, and the s is almost useless
other than that, i like it

Ugh. Apparently there were a couple of bugs in the multiplayer mode,
so that part wasn't working as of today's update. I have uploaded a
fix for the bug, so multiplayer mode should be working without error
now.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I should have
noticed this problem before making the update public.

Thank you for the clarification. I have a version of the board game
where the higher number is better. Anyway, this is still a great

Actually, that's not a bug. The game rules actually have the lower
numbers beating the higher numbers. That's why there are more 7's, 8's
and 9's than 1's, 2's and 3's.
I recently added an instructions page to the website, which should help
to clear up the rules of the game. The exact link is below:
