I just posted my latest version, 2.0, but it is not fully tested.
Anyone interested in checking out the new version can go here:

http://www.jeremyglassenberg.com/strategychessbeta

The multiplayer gameplay especially needs testing, so I would be very
grateful to anyone offering to play some rounds with me, to verify that
it works properly.  Just email me (strategych...@jeremyglassenberg.com)
and I'll get back to you.

Current issues:

-Some of the images for players 3 and 4 are a little difficult to see.
I'll have to improve the graphics
-When playing more than 2 players, the board may not necessarilty
refresh properly when a player is out.
-Multiplayer will probably have a good number of issue.  I need
volunteers to test that with me.

I think that any colnflict between the 1 and the S should kill the 1
the 1 is too overpowered, and the s is almost useless
other than that, i like it

Hmmmmm.

I'd say it's a good idea to do offer that to users.  When I originally
played a similar game to this, I played with the rule that the spy
always wins.  However, the rules generally are that the spy only wins
if he is attacking, and I would like to keep it like that, at least as
a default setting.

For a while I considered creating an options menu for people to decide
on certain rules such as the one you proposed.  When I finally get some
time to work more on this (hopefully about a week and a half from now),
I think I can try implementing such options.  The Spy rule should
definitely be a priority option.

Do you have any other feature requests?  I'll be back on the project
soon, so if you have any other ideas, let me know in the next week or
so.
