I'm going to be posting a few items today in hopes that I can get some
answers. I'm trying to wrap up a search gadget here and am having
difficulty with packaging and then running in Google Desktop.
Everything functions in the Gadget Designer Program, but when I go to
'Gadget' => 'Build Package' and then double-click on my Google Gadget
file the below happens:
I get an error message which states:
Google Gadget Setup: Invalid ID with an ok button at the bottom?
This also happens if I zip things up and change the extension to '.gg'
as described.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Also, does anyone know how to control a Gadgets size when changing the
size of the sidebar? Right now I have everything centered within a
table, but I've seen most Gadgets resize height & width together.

if i install the .gg nothing happens, just a void gadget appears. I changed the ID (btw, that site is ok, i use it too :) with another new ID i got from the same site:
875270c0-055c-11dd-95ff-0800200c9a66
Then i launched the .gmanifest; it worked, but some Javascript errors appeared...
