Please report issues and feature requests in the Issue Tracker in the gdata-issues project. ===== We love feedback! If you have a cool feature request, or just a small change that would make your life easier, let us know. First, look to see if someone has already suggested it, and if so, add a positive vote for it. If you don't find it, go ahead and add it. You can also read over what other people have suggested, and agree (+1) or disagree (-1) with their ideas. Feature Request: AuthSub support for Apps for Your Domain Feature Request: Identifying the user after login and redirect Short rationale: Need a way to get information about authenticated user (see corresponding thread: can we add +5/-0 ??) Votes: +8/-1
Feature Request: "Single login" from a website using Google API. Short rationale: Need a way to allow 3d party websites using Google API operate with a single login for all their visitors. Votes: +7/-1 Feature Request: Authentication token without cookies (for example request parameter instead)
Feature Request: AuthSub support for a read-only Gmail inbox domain Short rationale: Need a way for a Gmail user to grant access to a third-party app to read that user's incoming email messages (but not author messages for instance). Votes: +1/-1 // You can use the Gmail Atom feedFeature Request: AuthSub support for a Gmail contacts domain Short rationale: Need a way for a Gmail user to grant access to a third-party app to CRUD the user's Gmail contacts. Votes: +1/-0
Feature Request: New APIs to support client-side caching Short rationale: Need a way to cache data at client side. Client retrieves data once on login and then subsequently retrieves only those data that changed. For example, API to get blog count, album count, document count, etc. will allow client to retrieve these data if they have changed since the last retrieval instead of getting all of them again. Similar APIs to help caching will benefit desktop developers.
