The API key is an encrypted string that Google uses to verify your
site's use of the AJAX APIs (e.g., Maps, Search, Feeds). You can get
one by going to the link below and completing the form:
http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxsearch/signup.html
That said, the AJAX API key is different from the SOAP Search API key
which GoogleRankings.com is requesting. The two APIs (AJAX and SOAP)
are entirely different methods of accessing Google Search services.
Unfortunately, the SOAP API has been deprecated since late 2006 such
that, while keys issued before 6 Dec 2006 will still work, there are
no new keys being issued.
