synonyms and context

hello all,

I am new to this api and was wondering if there was a way of getting
synonyms of a query or even better context of the word given as a
query. If not does anyone know of an api that would have it ?

Unfortunately, there is no real Dictionary or Thesaurus API which
would be able to do such things.
