Upcoming GGRC Social Events!

GGRCers,

Hope you all survived Bay to Breakers!  Congrats to everyone that ran it, and for those who are still partying it up in the panhandle....well, good luck at work tomorrow.  So after a fantastic showing at Thursday's happy hour (GGRC > GGTC, no question), it's time to mark your calendars for some awesome upcoming social events:

1.  Happy Hour, Friday 6/8 @ Dear Mom:  Yep, we're switching it up and doing HH on a Friday next month, and we're heading to the Mission!  Dear Mom is a low key spot with strong drinks, a giant Connect Four, arcade games, a pool table, AND they serve up some delicious french food (http://www.yelp.com/biz/dear-mom-san-francisco).  Come have a drink and welcome our runners back from RTO (and hear about the shenanigans that went down in Reno after the race).

2.  Oakland A's Game, Sunday 6/17 @ 1pm:  Join us for an afternoon of baseball, beer, and sunshine as the A's take on the San Diego Padres at Oakland Coliseum (a quick BART ride from SF).  We'll be sitting in the bleachers, which are general admission, so buy you tickets (only $15!) here: http://oakland.athletics.mlb.com/ticketing/singlegame.jsp?c_id=oak&y=2012.  For those coming from the city, we'll arrange a meet up time/place so we can all BART over together.  More info coming soon, but get your tickets ASAP!

3.  First Annual GGRC Beer Mile & BBQ, Saturday 7/14 @ Golden Gate Park:  THE social event of the year (after banquet, of course).  You do NOT want to miss out on this.  Don't know what a beer mile is?  You can read all about it at www.beermile.com.  Details coming next month, but save the date (and start training!).
