  As a rule, filters do not apply to outgoing messages. There have been &lt;br&gt; exceptions found to this, but the one case that never applies to the &lt;br&gt; exception, is when forwarding.   When I set a filter to forward all mail from &amp;quot;*&amp;quot; to &lt;br&gt; mynum...@mms.att.net , if I send it to myself from m...@gmail.com to &lt;br&gt; m...@gmail.com, it never gets delivered to my phone. I can however use &lt;br&gt; that mms address and send a mail from within gmail and it goes to my &lt;br&gt; phone. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;What gives? Is the filter doing something behind the scenes to exclude

  Colin, you can still collapse and expand the list at will. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;First hide all the labels, then right click on the &amp;quot;down Arrow/triangle&amp;quot; &lt;br&gt; next to the 100 more label and heh presto all the labels are visible. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Its not quite the same but it works fine for me, with 60 plus labels.

  Actually, you can set an offline client like Outlook (which inexperienced &lt;br&gt; users may not have realized you meant when you said Lookout), or &lt;br&gt; Thunderbird, to access both at the same time, then you just drag from the &lt;br&gt; one account to the other directly. It will recreate the labels as well as &lt;br&gt; preserve everything about the e-mail headers (original time/etc).

  I use Outlook for my business email and Gmail for my personal email. &lt;br&gt; Yesterday I decided that I would try to set up my gmail account so I &lt;br&gt; could receive emails in Outlook and wouldn’t have to toggle back and &lt;br&gt; forth. I also wanted to set up Outlook so I could send email from &lt;br&gt; Outlook with my Gmail address.
