Hi everyone,

Whenever I am using Outlook to download me emails I get "lockdown in
sector 4"!!! What can I do? What I am doing wrong??? It says that I am
using my account in a "harmfull way"!!!! Downloading mails with OUTLOOK
is a harmfull way to use my account??? and ofcourse there is no support
at all.. whenever I am trying to send an email to ask tech support I
just get back an automatic reply.. thats all!!! anyone have any idea??

Make sure that you've signed out of gmail (click "sign out", don't just
close the window) before you use Outlook.  'For your safety', gmail
doesn't like it when you sign in from two different places...

Thank for your reply, but I have already done that. I make sure that I
have sign out completely (not just closing the window) and then run
Outlook. The same happens.

Cool -- is Outlook still running (in the background) when you try to
sign in to gmail?

No. Whan I am running Outlook, I dont try to sign in from the web.

Only thing else I can think of is to close outlook, sign out of gmail
from all your browsers (i.e. if you use firefox, sign out of IE too).
Clear cache and cookies for all browsers, and try signing in again.  If
you use notifier, sign in thru it.

OK.. I ll try clearing cache and cookies... and I ll get back

The same.. Now I have to wait 24 hours for the next try!!! WHAT IS

it always happens to me too, everyday i try to d/l my mails using
outlook express then in a short time i get an error msg, then it stops
from d/l and i try it again and all i get its the same error "lockdown
in sector 4" bla bla bla bla,, i dont know what im doing wrong

someone do something!!!

looks like gmail is playing with us
