same issue here. i have only the old "Forwarding and POP" tab in
Settings on my two accounts and the server responds with "IMAP is not
available for your account. (Failure)".

I'm having the same issue. I hope they're just working on the IMAP
servers or something. I've also encountered a few server errors in
Google Groups. Maybe the IMAP settings disappear when the server goes
down? I hope they're not removing the feature. There aren't any
announcements about IMAP maintenance that I've found.

I'm having the exact same thing, IMAP not working with Thunderbird,
IMAP settings gone from my Gmail settings, and googlechat seems to be
down.

Same here. I have a regular gmail account and one for my domain. IMAP
is gone from both.

I am having the same problem. Likewise as a few mentioned my chat is
not working and I got several server errors while trying to join this
group as well as post a message.

Same here. it was working at 1:30pm MST, and then at 1:40pm MST IMAP
was gone and I get the message

I cant access google calendar using Firefox 3 beta, but I can using
IE7. Maybe a related problem? Either way IMAP settings still not

I've got an Apps Gmail account as well as a "regular" Gmail account,
