same issue here. i have only the old "Forwarding and POP" tab in
Settings on my two accounts and the server responds with "IMAP is not
available for your account. (Failure)".

I'm having the same issue. I hope they're just working on the IMAP
servers or something. I've also encountered a few server errors in
Google Groups. Maybe the IMAP settings disappear when the server goes
down? I hope they're not removing the feature. There aren't any
announcements about IMAP maintenance that I've found.

I'm having the exact same thing, IMAP not working with Thunderbird,
IMAP settings gone from my Gmail settings, and googlechat seems to be
down.

Me too. IMAP has gone, the tab has gone, only Forwarding and POP

Same here. I have a regular gmail account and one for my domain. IMAP
is gone from both.
