This happened to me on my MacBook as well. Since the update
installed, I've seen "Checked [4, 6, even 8] min ago". What annoys me is that I'm used to getting a notification, checking the new email, and the notification goes away in the next 60 seconds. If the notification displays for up to 8 minutes, I keep thinking there's a new email since the one I've read. Hopefully Gmail resets it back to the original, or adds an "minutes between checks setting" to the Mac which PC's apparently already have. On Oct 23, 11:08 am, wjfischer wrote:
