Something invaded my Gmail contacts this morning and sent them all an
email entitled "Hey Friend", telling them of some website (ui-
mall.com).  Does anyone know what this virus is/does?  When I clicked
on "Settings" in the Gmail window, there was text saying the same
thing in my Vacation Responder window...how could that have
happened??  I've since cleared away that Vacation Responder text, but
how can I get to the root of what happened (and more importantly
ensure it doesn't happen again)??

Please help - I'm miserable...especially as all of my "friends" are
now waking up and replying to this mail I "sent" them!

Read in particular the posts from the gmail guide that suggest a
particular virus scanner to try.

am getting wierd messages into the spam n i don't knw how to stop this
messages 4rm my account.what can i do?

Hi All --

A lot of people have been having this problem. There are some useful
tips posted here:

Basically it comes down to: 1) Change your password, and 2) Remove any
message that may be in your vacation auto-responder.
