Which is not exactly illuminating but at least suggests a timescale
(possibly weeks).
How long is this issue likely to last? If we are talking hours or
possibly days, that is doable. If it is a case of weeks, that is
going to be a serious problem. If that is the case, I would rather
know now and start dealing with things asap - even if that means
switching accounts in the short term.

Again, very little useful information but I guess you'll want to check
back there for updates and if you go up a level to view the older
announcements you'll see that 502 downtime is apparently nothing new.

There is a loading problem when i try to log in. It says redirecting
but nothing happens. Then an error page shows up. How do i fix this
problem?

I too have been receiving the same error 404 for a couple of days now
and as frustrating as it is I guess we have to sit tight and wait for
the techno guys to sort out the problems...
meanwhile, I might just abandon gmail entirely, its not the greatest
email I've ever used, its just been convenient lately...
