Subject: sprintce-provision.seven.com - "Mobile" access in account? GMail Mobile vulnerability?
Hello, I would like to request the assistance of the Mobile users, as
I think this falls in their domain.

I have noticed odd Account Activity in my GMail account, originating
from two IPs - they are listed as "Mobile", but I do not use a mobile
application and was not online at those times - and am 100% sure my
account's password wasn't stolen (full means of verification and
additional details can be found on another thread in the Gmail Help
Group, Logging in, 'Apparent access from "Mobile"' thread).

From what I can tell, one IP resolves to sprintce-provision.seven.com
- which by guesswork I think is the Vision Pro unlimited data package
for the Sprint Palm Centro phone.

My question is, does that Mobile software suite have the ability to
backdoor into GMail accounts for use in their own, proprietary
software suite? And is that method independent of the current password/
security settings in the GMail account? (I have POP/IMAP disabled, no
"associated" accounts.) I remember hearing rumors the GoogleBot had
visible activity in your account sometimes; but am thinking this is
some new vulnerability in the GMail mobile application, or a new
attack on accounts.

If someone who knows how this works, or owns a Sprint Vision Pro
package, could you detail what is going on? I am hoping this is just a
glitch, as I am certain my password is secure - but don't know what
vulnerabilities the Gmail Mobile app leaves **open**. Thanks.
