I'm back fellas, with a new email address. Why? Because my hotspur.vik account has been disabled, I don't know why and Google don't give a flying f*ck as they won't respond to any of my emails or form submissions. It's been a full week now with no access and almost certainly my 18 months of correspondence has gone.
Nope, no info at all. Probably spam-related, but I'm certainly not a spammer - I rarely send more than a dozen emails per week, and rarely any to more than 2 or 3 recipients. I just can't get any response other than automated ones.
I was briefly encouraged by the following response:

However, when I emailed again from a yahoo address regarding a completely made-up gmail account name, I got the same response. Clearly nobody reads the emails.

Something similar happen to me. I got an error message requiering me to check my computer for virus. I did check my computer for viruses, nothing shown. I was freaking out. I was using Firefox, then I got another message saying that an computarized system was trying to acces my account and I should manually typed the letters shown below, I did typed it with no succes, then I opened IE to acces my gmail and I din't have no problem, switched back to Firefox and I got the same error message. Long story short and after many tries to figured out what the problem was, I decided to unistalled "Google Sync" after that I could acces my gmail account with no problem. I unistalled "Google Sync" from my other computer and I haven't used "Google Sync'' since then. I don't have any problem accesing my gmail from Firefox since then.
I tried to get google sync to work, but all I ever got was an error saying that too many components were selected. But even when I selected fewer components, I got the same error. I finally uninstalled the extension and things are working for me as well.
