I suggest the following improvement:

The "Browse other stories" view of Glypho located at
http://www.glypho.com/JSP/allProjects.jsp could be improved by giving
the User options on how to filter and order the Stories being browsed.

1. There is a Genre search bar on the Home page. A copy of that should
go on the Browse page, too.

2. Add more statistics (properties) of the stories to the Browse page
(alongside "Avg Rating", and "Viewed") such as Num of contributors, Num
Character ideas, Num of Chapter submissions, etc.

3. Ability to use any of the properties displayed as per 2 above as a /
the sort criteria.

-- Keep up the good work!

We can add the genre filter rightaway. Your other suggestions are very
good and we will schedule them in our feature list.

Thanks for the suggestions. We have added all these features to Glypho.
Check it out and let us know what you think.

Happy New Year!
I took a look at the changes, and I think they work well. Here,
however, are some quirks:

1. I tried to make a table of "Sort Criteria" to detail
correspondances. It seems that "last updated" is missing. It would be
good to include it for each result. Here is the complete table:
- "last updated" <none>
- "character/plot ideas" "# character idea(s), # plot
idea(s)"
- "chapter contributions" "# contribution(s) received"
- "story progress" "Chapter # in progress"
- "rating" "Avg. Rating: #"
- "views" "Viewed # times"

2. It struck me that one could construct a grid showing the count of
stories resulting from a 'Sort Criteria', and a 'Genre/Tag' selection.
Initially I tried to determine the number of stories in the result set,
by assuming all pages before the last would have 5 stories. This didn't
turn out to be true. I think it would be helpful to show (on the first
page of 'Browse Results') the number of stories in the result set.

Here is the completed table:

Tag A B C
------------------------------------------
All: 48 28 3
SciFi: 12 8 1
Romance: 5 2 1
Mystery: 6 4 1
Fantasy: 7 4 1
Humor: 3 2 0
Adventure: 3 2 0
Drama: 15 11 1

* A = "last updated"
B = "character/plot ideas"
C = "chapter contributions"

3. There is a deadline on submitted chapters in the following format:
"Deadline: Jan 5, 2006 3:02:55 PM".
It would be a good idea to document somewhere which time zone this is.

Hey, Ambika! Thanks for doing such a great job!
