registration problems

I have downloaded the program twice but have not been able to
register. I have followed the instructions regarding making sure that
I have downloaded Gantt Designer version 1.0, typing in the existing
name on the computer (although I don't think it makes a difference, I
type in the name in lower casing as is on the computer but when I
receive the email with the key, it comes back in upper case) and
finally, I make sure that key.dat goes into the same folder as the
downloaded program. When I downloaded the program initially, I made a
folder on my desktop for it. I am sorry but I am not very technical
so I don't understand why it continues to tell me that I have not
registered. I would appreciate help in this because I think this is
going to be exactly what I need for my project.

Hi, most likely your key.dat is in the wrong folder. To find out which is
the correct folder, click Help About Gantt Designer from the main menu. In
the dialog box that opens, the first line above the ok button shows the
folder where you must save the key.dat file.
