crash, will not reload

Well this is not good. downloaded the update, launched gaia. Every
thing was working good, there was a trail already loaded. gaia started
downloading i believe new map titles automatically (replacing the old
downloaded ones) showing the download kbps. Scrolling around and zoom
worked. Tapped the trip button. Gaia crashed. Now every time i launch
gaia it crashes, does not even get to the interface screen. it says
loading tracks, then loading then it crashes

Please send me the crash report as soon as you can. 

We'll fix your app today, and post an update if we can figure it out.

is there a way to get the crash logs with out syncing. I do not sync
this iPad with a computer.

I think if you just plug it in, the report will transfer. 

I think the sync isn't necessary - just gives the file time to transfer.

Hey Pete,

We are looking at the automatic crash logs we have coming in. I'm not sure if what I'm seeing is from you, but if so, you can fix the crash as follows:
  1. Shut down Gaia.
  2. Plug your device into your computer, and fire up iTunes.
  3. Go to the Apps tab
  4. Select Gaia GPS from the list at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Delete the file called: newSettings.txt
  6. Restart.
