I'm just back from five weeks of hiking from Tarifa to Elda on the GR7
in Spain, using Gaia as our only navigation tool (a March Beta
version), and want to report that everything was GREAT. Gaia was good
a year ago, when I started using it, and I'm thrilled that you've made
many important improvements since since then. I used both CycleMap
and ESRI Satellite, downloaded via "Download Maps for Tracks" for
about 600 miles of trail. I had all my maps and tracks and waypoints
pre-loaded. Everything worked really well. Access to CycleMap topos
and Satellite imagery of the whole world is a game-changer for long
distance hiking worldwide. Very cool stuff. Congrats, again, for a
very fine app.

Well, Anna and I just got back from a couple days in Las Vegas for our first anniversary, and we are delighted to hear Gaia helped you :)
I feel like a kid getting a gold star from the teacher sometimes, but whenever people email us nice things, it just feels great!
