Over the past year I have had four important friends/colleagues who
send mail to my gmail account and it never gets through. In two cases
it gets rejected, and advised as such to the users. In the other two
cases it appears to go from the users end but mail never shows up (in
spam or otherwise). Of the two rejected one had a .bg address and one
had a .ru address. In the other cases the users had a .mt.com address.
I ahve been using gmail for 2 years or more and I do not want to
change but I must make sure I get my emails. Can someone help?

It would help a lot to have copies of the rejection messages.

If you could get in touch with the person on the phone. Maybe you
could give out your email address? Most importantly. Tell them to go
to GMail.com and setup a free account. It is almost 100% sure they
will get your email then. If you have a GMail account and they have a
GMail account. If not,,, its hard to really say whats wrong. It could
be a number of things.

Its now been 2 days of not receiving any emails. No google alerts,
yahoogroups, personal emails, etc.....
They are not in the All Mail, Spam and Trash.
I can't file a report because I don't have headers.
HELP !!!!!!!

You could login to yahoogroups (http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups) and click
on "My Email Preferences", then "Show History" to get an idea of what's been
going on. It should show the most recent bounce error message, which might
give you some idea what's happening. It's not much, but it's a start.

Also ask a friend to send you an email and see what they get back when it
bounces.
