I'd like to know what people like about GMarks. The Firefox 2 bookmarking system was so horrible, making GMarks separate made sense to me and allowed me to add certain features not in the Firefox 2 system. It still had the downside of requiring me to rewrite certain FF2 extensions and add them to GMarks.... more »

This is the version I'll probably be uploading to addons.mozilla.org soon unless there are any big problems. I actually mean that this time. Its been way to long. Hi,
First of, let me say that I love GMarks.
What I'd like to see is the ability to add additional buttons to the
toolbar, where a given button can have a filter to show just the
bookmarks which match.
Right now, there is a drop-down button called Bookmarks, which shows
my hierarchy.

Hi, I really like GMarks. But I do also want to use the new Firefox
3.6 beta 1.
GMarks however is not compatible/enabled for this latest beta.
Can this be fixed?

log in problem

Hi, developers. I like this addon very much. However, it is very hard
for me to log in automatically. Every time, I have to log in Gmail
first in Firefox. Then I click log in in Gmarks by Hand. This is the
only way it can work in my Firefox.
Any solution?

Hello,
First of all, congratulations for the great plugin. So here is my
request. Is it possible to configure a keyboard shortcut to show/hide
the Gmarks latteral pannel ? That would be very usefull for people
using minimalist firefox hud.

most of the time when I save a page to gmarks - I get an error msg
saying "there was an error submitting "this address" to google;" and
it will not register; does this mean it is not saving at all - does it
save in the gmark drop down list? why is it happening? please provide
detailed assistance...... more »

Currently, when one runs the mouse over a bookmark in the sidebar, a
tooltip pops up containing the exact text as the bookmark itself
('name' field). This is fairly useless, as we are already looking at
that text. Much more useful would be to pop up the actual URL field;
this helps quite a bit when the bookmark name does not correlate so... more »
