We've got some great features to announce on the spreadsheets side of
things, so...without further ado, here they are:
Sort your data more quickly:
- Ordering and re-ordering data is an indispensable function for
spreadsheets users. While this was already possible, we've made it
faster and easier by adding what we call a sortbar. The sortbar is a
draggable, horizontal break between your column headers and your data.
Each column has a place in the sortbar that allows you to sort your
data quickly, without leaving the Edit tab.

Add your data more quickly:
- Our Quicksum feature does for adding what the sortbar does for
sorting -- makes it faster and more convenient! Now, when you look in
the lower-right corner of your page, you'll see the sum of all
selected cells. And if you click it, you'll see more options.

View content from any browser:
- Whenever you have access to the Internet, whichever browser you're
using, you can now view your spreadsheets. Visiting your in-laws in
Toronto? Accessing the Internet from a cafe in Singapore? Either way,
you'll be able to spend your time looking at your spreadsheets, not
hunting for a supported browser. (Note that there are limitations:
while you can view your spreadsheets, it's not possible to edit a
spreadsheet using an unsupported browser.)
See where your collaborators are editing:
When editing a spreadsheet collaboratively, it's always nice to know
who's doing what where. Instead of waiting for the changes to appear,
we introduce color coded collaborative editing. What does this mean?
Well, whenever more than one collaborator signs in and begins editing
a spreadsheet, each user will be assigned a color, and any cell being
edited by this user will be highlighted in the user's unique color.

Not to be forgotten completely, we've fixed a few meddlesome bugs.
Here are two of many:
- A few users reported that numbers were changed when they uploaded a
spreadsheet -- fixed :)
- Users with multiple graphs in a spreadsheet were frustrated when
only the first graph saved -- won't be bothering us again!
Enjoy!
