~ Counterfeit Christianity and Human Secularism allow each person to
have their personal truth.

“You have your truth” and “I have my truth”. They say. That is
blatantly opposed to the life and teaching of Jesus Christ, Our
Saviour and Lord, who spoke the Father’s truth!

THE FATHER'S TRUTH

Jesus is our God who speaks the words of His God in heaven:

"Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man,
then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but
as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. And he that sent me
is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those
things that please him." John 8:28-29 (KJV)

In the Old Testament and the New Testament, Jesus spoke the Father's
words. Jesus spoke the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai and gave Moses
statutes and judgments that would teach the people how to obey them.

The Psalmist defines "the truth":

"and THY LAW is THE TRUTH." Psalms 119:142 KJV

Peter told the early Christians that the Old Testament Prophets were
inspired by the Spirit of Christ:

"Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched
diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was
in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of
Christ, and the glory that should follow."
1 Pet 1:10-11 (KJV)

The Spirit of Christ speaking through Isaiah said: "To the law* and to
the testimony**: if they speak not according to this word***, it is
because there is no light in them." Isa 8:20 (KJV)

The words of Jesus, the law and the testimony of the Old Testament
Prophets are the standard by which all doctrine must by judged.

* law: #8451 torah from #3384; a precept or statute, especially the
Decalogue or Pentateuch.

**testimony: #8584 te' uvdah from #5749, attestation, i.e. a precept.

*** word: #1697 dabar from #1696 a word.

The English word "Commandment" is translated from the Hebrew "dabar"
which means: "a word". Therefore that which was carved in stone and
upon the hearts of the people of God are The Ten
[dabars] of God.

"It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every WORD
that proceeds from the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4 RSV
