Subject: There will be polyfolds.
Helmut Hofer will give a day-long mini-workshop on the polyfold
approach to compactifications in Gromov-Witten theory.

Time: This Sunday, April 27, starting at 9:00 a.m.
Place: Courant (NYU), Room 1314.

There is an extended abstract here:
http://www.cims.nyu.edu/~albers/abstract_helmut.pdf

The abstract says some background is assumed -- and makes suggestions
about how to obtain that background.

Survivors are invited to join Hofer et al for dinner.  I plan to attend.
--Robert
