1. The volunteer sign up sheet has been revised- many programs have
not had interest or involvement over the years and we have removed
those programs for next year.
2. Involvement is at an all time low by parents and teachers. Without
support the children will not see many of the things that they enjoy
like School Store, Family Fun Nights, the Science Fair, the Talent
Show, etc. Please consider volunteering!
3. Our current bank balance is approximately $12,200.00.
4. Fund raiser ideas were discussed – Rollerskating was a big success,
the Chilis breakfast w/Santa, Barnes and Nobles w/ story hour -all
were a lot of fun with little planning. We're hoping to do them again
in 2010.
5. Dana Quintana has volunteered to be president for next year. - Yeah
– Thank you Dana!
6. Kathy Rattigan has volunteered for v.P of Membership.
7. Kelly Ceely has volunteered for Treasurer.
8. Dana D'Amico will continue as Secretary.
9. Andrea Corbett will continue as V.P. Of Committees.
10. After school clubs will continue next year.
11. Parent Volunteer Night will be at Synergy Cafe – info to follow.
12. The Book Fair gave over $700.00 in free books to the kids for
P.A.R.P participation.
13. Over 70” of hair was collected for hair donation day.
14. The Website has looked fabulous this year thanks to the Mr. & Mrs.
Solieri!
15. We will continue to collect Box Tops – please keep sending them
in.
16. The 5th Grade moving up ceremony breakfast still needs
volunteers. Contact Dianne Aquillino, Traci Scarduzio or Kim Busche
if your interested.
17. Mrs. Kavanaugh & Mrs. O'Shea are retiring this year. Please send
in a homemade momento for the teachers from your child if you'd like
and we'll present them to the teachers.
18. Kathy Rattigan will follow up w/ Lifetouch for Mrs. LaFalce's AM
kindergarten class photo.
19. Spring photos are in and will be distributed soon.
20. Mrs. Plambeck complimented the parents on the Teacher Appreciation
luncheon. It was very good!
21. Yearbooks will be distributed soon.
22. No PTA meeting in June. Have a great summer and we'll see you all
next Fall.
