Fabrangen will hold Shabbat services on Saturday, December 15, 9:30
a.m., in the library at Ohr Kodesh Congregation, 8300 Meadowbrook
Lane, Chevy Chase (at East-West Highway and Meadowbrook Lane. Join
Fabrangen for a service filled with spirited singing and a thoughtful
discussion on Parashat Vayigash.
2. SHABBAT SERVICES: SATURDAY, DECEMBER 22
Fabrangen will hold its regular weekly Shabbat services on Saturday,
December 22, 9:30 a.m., at the Washington Ethical Society, 7750 16th
Street NW. Join Fabrangen for a service filled with spirited singing
and a thoughtful discussion on Parashat Vayechi. Child care will be
provided.

3. MAZON BENEFIT CONCERT WITH NESHAMA CARLEBACH, SUNDAY, DECEMBER 9
The Sixth and I Synagogue and MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger
present Neshama Carlebach in a benefit concert for MAZON on Sunday,
December 9, 4:30 p.m. at the Sixth and I Synagogue, 600 I St., NW,

Hungry for Music will hold a Hanukah concert Monday, December 10,
8:00 p.m., at the Sixth and I Synagogue, 600 I St., NW, Washington.
Featured artists are the Alexandria Kleztet, Glickman & the Gelt-
Tones, Klezcentricity, the Robyn Helzner Trio, and the Sinai Mountain
Boys, with special appearances by Alan Oresky, James Levy, Jinny

6. THE CHANUKAH SEDER, TUESDAY, DECEMBER 11, 7:00-9:30 PM
Celebrate the holiday with a ceremonial meal full of exuberant singing
and storytelling led by David J. Smolar and Rebecca Weiner and
sponsored by the Jewish Study Center (JSC). The event will be held at
the Historic 6th & I Synagogue, 600 I St. NW, Washington. Cost is $20
