Well, it is here.....the tool to help us with recruiting nursing
students. It is a short (about 15 minute) spectacular DVD put together
by FNA for the purpose of recruitment. The DVD explores the FUTURE of
NURSING in FLORIDA, as well as, the challenges and demands of a
nursing career, and the many possibilities available to a nurse. It
does the job for us. FNA would like to see this presentation given to
school counselors to make available for students with an interest in
nursing. By no means does this limit the power of the DVD for the
counselor's offices. It is available for all recruiting efforts by the
chapters. If you are interest in earning BTN points towards the
Chapter of the Year Award, and would like to receive a copy of the DVD
to help you do it, please email me a request at btnch...@fnsa.net .
Please include your plans for the DVD, such as the names of the
schools who will receive a copy or the recruiting event where it will
be used. FNA and FNSA would like to keep a record of where the DVD
goes. I will keep you aware of any new recruiting material the FNSA
