I realized the application to be a Toolbar beta tester was a bit too
complicated, so I've extended the deadline to apply for one week from
today. If you'd like to test the upcoming Toolbar for Firefox beta
before it's released publicly, please apply at:
I'll choose a small group of beta testers and extend invites by the
end of the month. A quick note that being part of this beta test group
means testing the Toolbar release candidate, and escalating any bugs
you find to the Toolbar team.
If you've already applied, I've got your info saved and there's no
need to re-apply. But feel free to reply to this post and let me know
what your favorite Toolbar feature is! :-)
Thanks everyone for applying! We got an overwhelming response, and I'm
really excited for you to try the Toolbar for Firefox release
candidate. Our Legal department is going through some of the finer
details, and I'll send an email out shortly with more info.
Cheers and thanks!

I received an email from "Google Toolbar Guide" <GoogleToolbar-
[email address]> that claims I am invited to Toolbar Stars and the
beta test of the Firefox Toolbar. How can I verify this is legit?

That's me (Toolbar Guide) and my email address. Thanks for double
checking.
That email includes a copy of the non-disclosure agreement for beta
testers. If you agree to these terms, sign and return that doc to me
by next Wednesday, and our Legal dept will give the final sign off for
me to share the Toolbar for Firefox release candidate with you. :-)
