you can try using ( http://jcifs.samba.org/) with java gateway.  jcifs gives you a pure SMB protocol with in java.  You can try importing the jcifs into Cache also that might work too.  Write an adapter that uses this underlying jcifs

2012.1 is now available and I think it is the biggest step forward since Ensemble 4.0 so I hope you enjoy it.

The biggest change is the new user interface. I  think most people will love it, but some people will find something they don’t like about it. It might just be a matter of getting used to a new way of doing things, but if something just doesn’t work for you, don’t hesitate in telling the WRC or this group.

There are lots of other improvements listed in the release notes and we have fixed hundreds of minor issues that aren’t  listed.

While you can easily install on a test system, I would like to start a discussion about what ISC can do to make it easier and quicker for you to move forward from your current version to a newer version.

Regards

Congratulations on this new major  release.  We already have it installed on our test system, and loving the new UI (especially from a Firefox browser).  Looking forward to using the new Record Mapper function as well.  Thanks!
