Ted and all, hi

Yes, I saw that and wrote to MM about it and said he needed to make it clearer

I feel he needed to say it clearer and stronger, because many people are for paper ballots, and unless those paper ballots are counted by hand and NOT by op scams (not a typo), it is irrelevant and it obfuscates the issue.  Many people, including very close friends of mine (who I thought would know better), have told me so excitedly about paper ballots being used over the years in this place and that place - not realizing that op scams use paper ballots

Because I had read MM book back in 2008, I knew he was for hand-counting, and I do wonder why he has not made this clearer in your quote below.  Because op scams are electronic voting machines too

10. We, the people, must pass three constitutional amendments that will go a long way toward fixing the core problems we now have. These include:
a) A constitutional amendment that fixes our broken electoral system by 1) completely removing campaign contributions from the political process; 2) requiring all elections to be publicly financed; 3) moving election day to the weekend to increase voter turnout; 4) making all Americans registered voters at the moment of their birth; 5) banning computerized voting and requiring that all elections take place on paper ballots.

On pages 135, 136, 137 in his book Mike's Election Guide 2008, Michael Moore calls for hand-counted paper ballots (HCPB). He has promised to write another paper to OWS about elections. I am guessinghopingpraying it will include HCPB elections. He has asked for comments to his last paper. PLEASE, write him now and remind him of his own words.

Here are several email addresses I have for Michael Moore:

Hi Sheila and all,
I agree with you that he could have made his recommendation clearer--he could have just inserted  the words hand-counted prior to "paper ballots." Why he did not is a matter of speculation.  Perhaps those writing emails  to him, while acknowledging his good recommendations, could ask him why he did not plainly urge for hand-counted paper ballots.
