Announcement

This group is now managed by John Papadopoulos, Secretary of the US 29er Class Association.

There were a number of inappropriate files lingering around the site that were potentially infected with viruses so I've changed the setup to restrict uploading of documents, files, photos, etc. to the managers and owners of this group.  If you have something to be uploaded, please send it to the Secretary at the address listed below.  Note that the root of the problem was allowing spammers to have accounts.  Hopefully we'll do a better job of who we invite into our group.  When I'm confident that we've deleted the spammers from our membership, I'll turn member uploading back on.

This group is meant to be used for getting the word out about events, posting short news items, actual discussion, and the like.  We don't consider advertisements for items for sale as fitting the intended use of the group - particularly when there is a place for advertisements on the www.29ernorthamerican.org website.  So no more advertisements.  Existing ads (as of 10/10/2009) will be grandfathered for a reasonable time before being removed.
