hi everyone.
my cat, alien, has been missing for a little over a month now. we live
on the 1300 block of stratton. she is a medium sized adult female, on
the shy side but very sweet, she has been fixed, yellowish eyes,
completely white, and she has a raspy voice. ANY information or

This comment actually ties in quite nicely to the front page Tennessean story from today "Habitat project stirs unease." Yes, we should disperse the "low-income housing," whatever that is, throughout the city. Unfortunately, when that is attempted, it is met with "we can't have smaller homes because it clashes with the character of the neighborhood." We can't have it both ways,folks. Truly, many in society don't want it dispersed. Some would point to the school rezoning as evidence of that.... more »

Last Thursday we came home and before pulling in my driveway we saw a
group of maybe 4, young, African American males walking down the
street.We didn't think anything of it because we see kids around the
neighborhood all of the time, and this was probably 8:15pm. As soon as

Hello, fellow neighbors Z's Five Points Deli last day of business will be Saturday September 13th. My reasons for doing so are personal. I want to thank the neighborhood for all of it's support and help to make Z's Five Points Deli a successful business. Owning a business in this great neighborhood has been a great learning experience. We will still be around to cater to your catering needs. Stay tuned for more information about Z's Deli catering coming in the very near future. Meanwhile, stop by to get that taste that so many of you craved one last time.
