Dear friends,

I'll be preaching my Passover message on the 24 th March - "The 3 Passovers". 5pm at the ETW Centre. There are still seats for the Passover celebration if you are able to come- 7th April (Sat) - 5pm where I'll be leading the Seder. We are limited only by the seating capacity at the Centre. Please register asap.

An inquisitive mind has led me to uncover the errors of church tradition, long cherished by myself and others. One of which was the keeping of the Passover - a practice / celebration kept by the early church but neglected later. Either the essence or timing has changed which has been unfortunate for the past 2,000 years. The Reformers may have given us the Bible, but not Biblical Christianity. The Brethren were probably the closest the Western church has ever got, to the Biblical faith.

In this sermon, I'll be covering:
1. Why the need to keep the Passover?
2. The Bible's reckoning of time - civil and Temple reckoning
3. The 3 Passovers - 13(New Covenant), 14 (Exo 12) and 15 Nisan (Deut 16)
4. What it means for us in the present and our future?

If we have a simplistic idea that Christ died on a Friday and rose on a Sunday, perhaps reading the Greek NT (which you can google) on Mark 16:9 might arouse our suspicion (esp. Young's Literal Translation).

KJV Mark 16:9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
NAS Mark 16:9 Now after He had risen early on the first day of the week, He first appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons.
YLT Mark 16:9 And he, having risen in the morning of the first of the sabbaths, did appear first to Mary the Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven demons;

Shalom,
Jeffrey
