Dearest EBC Members: One of the important parts of the North Shore Century is our sponsors. While our sponsors participate to support us in our charitable endeavors and because they are all-around generous people, they are also in business. Specifically, some of the bike shop sponsors would like us to post an occasional notice on this mailing list. The EBC board has agreed to allow a limited number of bike related advertising messages for NSC sponsors each year (maximum 4 each). route planning question - Chandler to end of Green Bay Trail in Wilmette?

A question for my fellow ride leaders, What's the best way to lead a slow ride from Chandler to the south end of the Green Bay Trail, across Forest St. from the fire station in Wilmette? It's much too late to relocate from Chandler to Panera. As stated in my previous post, on Saturday I'm leading a Botanic Garden ride, with only one lake view this time. Normally I'd take Sheridan to the beach in Gillson Park by the Bahai Temple, but not this year.... more »
