Hi everyone,
Here's the update on the Sept. 25 Day of Prayer, Fasting and Witness for the MDGs.
We now have a webpage for the event -- www.sept25.org -- which will take you to a dedicated page on the EGR site (plus we still have our event group on Facebook, which has so far attracted 418 commitments).
We also have a way for congregations, seminaries, organizations ... any group to sign up to participate, too. We're asking them to:
+Commit to include the MDGs in your communal prayers on Sept. 25 and/or the Sunday before (9/21) and/or the Sunday after (9/28) and to encourage people in your congregation, seminary or organization to make the commitment to pray, fast and witness.
+Once you've made the commitment, click here to register it -- You'll be taken to a page where we can get your basic information so we can list you among the committed congregations.
+Keep checking back to www.sept25.org for more resources you can use (like prayers, bulletin inserts and more) ... and be sure and send us resources you have that other individuals and communities can use, too!
We'll be doing an official email launch on Monday morning, but don't wait for that ... Spread the word!
