SUMMER STUDENT POSITIONS (Corporate Functions)

Summer student positions in Corporate Functions are now posted on OPG's
external careers website: www.mypowercareer.com.

The positions available will be of interest to enthusiastic students
seeking a summer student position with OPG, from approximately May to
August 2009. Summer student assignments are typically not related to a
student's career path or chosen field of study and include a variety of
roles in administrative, clerical and janitorial functions. The
positions are in Corporate Functions departments at Head Office, Kipling
or in Pickering.

Positions in other business units, including at stations and sites, are
managed separately under local site arrangements.

Safety training will be provided to all students.

HOW TO APPLY:

Applications must be submitted online between March 10 and March 23,
2009. Applications submitted after the closing date will not be
accepted, nor will paper resumes be considered.

Students will be asked to include the name of the Corporate OPG employee
who is referring them (if applicable) when they submit their resume
online.

CONDITIONS:

Generally, students must be available for employment from early May to
the end of August (start and end dates may vary depending on the needs
of the individual departments).

For janitorial labour, students should be able to do light lifting and
be able to understand and comply with our stringent safety requirements.

Students must be at least 18 years of age as of the closing date of the
posting.

Students may only work at OPG for a maximum of two student terms. This
includes, in combination, co-op student terms, developmental student
terms and summer student terms. If the student has already worked at OPG
for two terms, they should not apply for these positions.

As a condition of employment, all summer students must provide
documentation verifying that they attended school in the spring and are
returning to full-time studies in September 2009.

Offers of employment will be made subject to satisfactory security and
medical checks.

SELECTIONS:

All eligible students will be entered into a lottery process for
selection to positions. HR will engage the support of union
representatives in this lottery process. Successful students will be
notified in early to mid April.
