Mubaraki to all of you.
Well, here is what I can gather from earlier today. Mowla's car arrived a
little after 10.15am and stayed till just before noon. Initially he did
not seem to be in the same joyous mood as we heard he was in London. But,
things quickly changed. First thing he did was gave Du'a Aasheesh to all
the Murids, their families and their Jamats, wherevr they belonged to. He
then mentioned that the jamat in Portugal and elsewhere should be
economically cautious for the next 2 to 3 years.
He told the jamat that institutions are working hard to bridge the gap b/w
our faith and that of others. He asked the jamat to always stay happy and
keep a smile on their faces. That's what Islam relates to - Happiness.
Once again he reminded us to practice our faith every moment and not just
occasionally at our convenience. He again mentioned about using our
tasbeeh and calling Ya Allah, Ya Ali or names of the Imams.
He then again mentioned to work together with a strong exit policy.
Then came the fun part.
Mowla said "I want to have fun with my Jamat". He said in Portugal these
days, diet experts and physicians keep stressing about eating "Brocolli".
Imam said when it comes to the jamat's health, he has given farmans like
don't smoke or indulge in bad habits, but what should he say now. He
doesn't want us to turn out to be people with short legs, long ears, and
big long whiskers. And the jamat cracked out. After going on a bit, he
asked us to stay happy and next time we see that "UGLY Vegetable",
remember to (don't remember if he said laugh or something else)
It was a great great Deedar and I surely missed you guys.
May mowla always keep showering his blessings upon us and may we all
always stay and remember to stay happy.
