Audio Player control in .NET - reg

Hello All,

 

I am looking for free of cost Audio player control that is going to be embedded in my application (a desktop app that is proposed to be done in C# or VB.NET)which will be redistributed.

 

I am looking for a control that can support a number of audio devices, and can generate WAV/WMA files. The audio control should also provide methods to merge, split various segments of recordings (audio editing).

ah! i forgot mention that there is a need to grab audio from various input devices...
