Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Step by Step

Recently I got a second-hand copy of the "Microsoft Visual C# 2008
Step by Step" to find out that most examples work off the code
examples included in the CD that comes with the book which i never got
cause he lost it.

So if any one can possibly help me with the materials on the CD, it
will really help a lot and will be greatly appreciated.

Check the publisher's website.  They should give you information on obtaining the CD, or maybe even provide a link to download the examples from it.

Tried that with no luck, the publisher is microsoft and apparently
they don't provide that for thier books.
