Ref: Ticket #3410 (http://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/3410)
So, it seems that starting from at least version 0.15.0 of the GNU
gettext package
xgettext behavior has changed to be more strict and prints
./core/validators.py:364: warning: 'msgid' format string with unnamed
arguments cannot be properly localized:
The translator cannot reorder the arguments.
Please consider using a format
string with named arguments,
and a mapping instead of a tuple
for the arguments.
kind of warnings and aborts the binary message catalog generation process.
So, to help in deciding if a "minimum recommended version to be used for Django
L10N work" should be added to the docs I decided to perform this small survey to
know what versions are available in different Django-capable non EOLed
platforms.
Plase fill the "?" spots if you have access to the the plaforms that don't
have version info and/or add any platform I've missed.
