I''ve just finished updating the .po files maintained by the "generic"
Spanish to cater to the usual idimos and particularities of the
language as it is spoken here in Argentina.
Following the steps outlined in the Django documentation, I'm
posting this message to ask for feedback and persission before
opening the ticket in Trac that will include the catalogs as
attachments.

I would see no problems in an es_AR version, at least that's how I am
guessing Argentinian Spanish is denoted for locale, right?
I would suggest to just open a ticket and drop your files in it.

You're right. I completely forgot about that.

I'm Jorge, from México. I'm the one who wrote the comment about
"barras" vs "diagonales". Here in México "barras" is generally
understood to mean | | (what you would call pipes in english).
While a / (slash) is called "diagonal", and the inverted one
"diagonales invertidas".
You said that in Argentina you use the word "barras". I don't know
what would be the best option, but I guess is not very important
anyways, let's just keep it at "barras" if you prefer.
Thank you for taking the effort of updating the translation, it is
quite a long file!
¡Saludos!
Jorge
