This week on the Day1 radio program we're honored to welcome the Rev.
Dr. Robert M. Franklin, president of Morehouse College in Atlanta,
GA.

Before coming to Morehouse, his alma mater, in 2007, he was the
Presidential Distinguished Professor of Social Ethics at Emory
University, where he was also a senior fellow at the Center for the
Study of Law and Religion. Earlier he served as president of the
Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta. He earned graduate
degrees from Harvard Divinity School and the University of Chicago.

Dr. Franklin's powerful sermon for Independence Day weekend, based on
2 Cor. 12:7-10, is entitled "Strong in the Broken Places." Be sure to
visit http://day1.org to listen to the program or read the sermon
transcript online. Then share your thoughts and responses with us
here.

Many thanks.

Peter

My wife and I have sat twice in lectures and sermons by Dr. Franklin. As with this sermon, he always inspired and challenged his hearers. Another great sermon. Billy Cox, Louisville, KY.
