Celebrate Valentine’s Week at Paulette’s Studio of Dance!
Valentine’s Dance Party
Join us on Sunday, February 12th for a special Valentine’s Dance Party. Come solo, bring a date, or bring the whole family. This is a great opportunity to dance, have fun, and meet new people. You do not need a partner or be an experienced dancer to enjoy the party. The 16-piece big band orchestra, Night Session, will play dynamic dance music including swing, cha-cha, waltz, foxtrot, rumba, and more. This hot band features sultry saxophones, a tenacious horn section, a drummer with the perfect beat, and a silky-voiced vocalist.
The girls from the Stiletto dance troupe will perform their heart-stopping chair dance routine. There will also be an Argentine Tango & Salsa demonstration.
The group dance lesson is at 5:00pm. No partner is required. New and seasoned dancers will learn fun steps and techniques.
The band will play from 5:30pm – 7:30pm
General dancing starts immediately after the band stops and will be extended this week until 9:00pm. Dance to your favorite Latin and Ballroom music and more!
The cost for the evening is $10 per person. Bring a picnic dinner or your favorite snacks and a beverage to imbibe while you are enjoying the music.

Can’t make it to the dance this Sunday? …..consider taking one of the following dance classes this week for a great warm-up to Valentine’s Day.
Wednesday; Argentine Tango Group Class
Learn to dance the Argentine Tango. All skill levels are welcome, no partner is required. The on-going tango class is held every Wednesday from 7:30 – 8:30pm.
Thursday; Latin Group Class
A variety of Latin dances will be taught including Salsa, Merengue, Rumba, Bachatta and Cha-Cha. All skill levels are welcome, no partner is required. The Latin group dance class is held every Thursday from 7:30 - 8:30pm. Stay and dance after the lesson to practice your new moves and socialize in the Corkscrew Lounge.
Friday; Ballroom Group Class
This on-going class is designed to help people master the basics of ballroom dance. Each class will consist of working on two dances, one latin (cha cha, rumba, swing, salsa, bachatta, and merengue) and one smooth (waltz, fox trot, tango, Viennese Waltz). All skill levels are welcome, no partner is required. The Ballroom class is held every Friday from 7:00 – 8:00pm.
Group Class Rates:
A Dance Card which includes ten group dance lessons is available for $100. This card may be used for Tango Wednesdays, Latin Thursdays, Ballroom Fridays or the Sunday Night Live! Dance Parties. (The dance card may be shared by a couple). You may also drop-in at any class. The drop-in rate is $15 per person/per class.
The Annual “Valentine Chair Dance Boot Camp” - For Girls Only!
Are you looking for a uniquely romantic way to spice up your Valentine’s Day? Learn a specially choreographed Chair Dance routine for that special someone. The class is held in our sumptuous studio that provides a private and fun environment. Put your inhibitions aside, grab your girlfriends, and put on your sassiest outfit for two evenings of unforgettable fun. Bring your favorite stilettos, a man’s dress shirt, and tie.
The two-class Boot Camp will be held on Friday, February 3rd from 8:15 – 9:45pm and Tuesday, February 7th from 7:30 – 9:00pm.

With your purchase of the Chair Dance Workshop, you are entitled to free admission for one person to the upcoming Valentine’s Dance Party on Sunday, February 12th at 5:00pm. See above for details about the dance party.
