Hello friends,

 

Some photos today from the Chicopee Street Cemetery, Chicopee MA, which was part of the original Springfield grant.

 

The folks are Joe Nadeau, who has been so generous with his time and energy in keeping our Park Street Cemetery, where we take the school kids, looking fine; Betsy and Al McKee, who are the keepers of the Hermon Newell flame, they live in this talented carver's home; and Bob and Rusty Clark on the right, seekers of John Ely stones wherever we may be.

 

The mausoleum is AMAZING. Designed by the Tiffany Company, says so on a small plaque on the outside of the building, the exterior mosaic is astonishing in its colors and brightness.
