Hi, my daughter had similar constipation problem... I recall those
days when we had to put this medicine Microlax into her rectum to help
soften her stools. My PD has then advised us to give a little
Lactulose Solution into her milk. He told us that this medicine is
"external" and as such will pass out from her body. No effect on her
body system. She is now 3 and half years old. We still give a small
dosage once every 3 days and it still helps her a great deal. She has
not complained of pain when passing motion for years now.
Just sharing our experience.
